SEO as Community Organization Building

SEO techniques could help you get into contact with the people who are looking for just such a group! You may have your website built already, but just because you build it, does not mean people will show up.

A lot of websites have a hard time getting recognized by the search engines because it requires fairly specific knowledge. The search engines would like to find the most appropriate web pages, but sometimes people want to divert things to unrelated commercial websites using misleading labels and links. Unfortunately, those people understand SEO and its the legitimate websites that have to play catch up.

When selecting an SEO, ask if they offer discounts for non-profit, religious, and public service groups like churches, fund-raisers, and other charity organizations. Maybe the SEO company just had a good sales year - maybe they are ready to do some optimization work pro-bono for the Jacksonville community.
